Dallas

So, I woke up this morning, or rather this afternoon, at 2:00. I slept a solid 14 hours. It felt great. I showered, got dressed, and shortly after, Sarah, Lexi, Lydia and my mom came with Patrick to the Pearce's to pick me up. We stayed for a while and chatted, looking at all the wedding gifts, and then we headed on to the hotel. Lexi and I are sharing a room, and for tonight, so are mom, Sarah, and Lydia. We relaxed in our hotel rooms for a little while, and it was nice.

At 5:00, we headed to Chuy's, this wonderful Mexican restaurant, to have dinner with Lauren's parents, Ed and Cheryl, and Lauren. I ordered cheese quesadillas but didn't eat them because I got too full on the chips and dip :)

After dinner, we all stopped back at the hotel to drop off the gift bags for the guests, and then the girls headed to Kroger to get groceries.

We came back to the hotel and guess who we saw - Aunt Sharon and cousin Laura and Claire!!!!! So great being together. Since then we've just been relaxing. It's nice.

Being back in the states is really weird. It's strange hearing English all the time. I definitely dreamed in Spanish last night, and have been thinking in Spanish since I got here. It's also strange how big everything is. I miss my Spanish friends, for sure. But at the same time, it's nice being with my real family. I just don't know how I'm going to do it in May, come home for real. Ahh! Good thing I don't have to worry about that now!
