I've Got To Admit It's Getting Better

This morning I was sick - again. Fever of about 100. I woke up at 8:15 and had some natural juice and some medicine - again. I tried to be productive all morning. I caught myself up on the latest news, read some Spanish literature, and tidied up the room.

For lunch at 2:00, we had lentil soup with a vegetable medley. It was pretty delicious. I felt really worthless having not been to school in so long that I sucked it up and caught the number 89 to my 3:00 class. It was actually a good transition - we just watched a movie in Spanish. I also got my test back. Another 9.75 - and it was a really difficult test, so I'm pretty satisfied!

Afterwards, I walked home. I stopped by my favorite store, Tandy, chatted with the store owner for awhile, and bought some shampoo and conditioner. I got home around 5:30 and hung out with Matilde until dinner. We had a mix of pura de patata and de verduras, with a delicious fish and bread.

Since dinner, I've been skyping with SK and chatting with some Spanish and American friends on fb chat - something I've actually begun doing with perhaps a little bit of frequency. It's nice being connected to people.
