At around 3:00 I talked with Megan, and she also had slept in. We decided to do something with ourselves, so I showered and got ready, and then we met at 5:00 at el Puente de Aragón and walked down to Starbucks! Starbucks is definitely a popular hot spot for kids ages 11 - 15, as we found out. But we had a good time, just talking and enjoying our caramel frappuccinos.
At 7:15, we bid each other farewell, and I, once again, headed to Calle Sueca for another service at Dovis' church. His parents were there this time, and it was SO good! I hadn't seen Laura and Juan in a month, so it was a nice reunion. Also, Dovis gave the word. He wants to be a pastor of some sort, and rightly so, because he was amazingly well-spoken and his message was wonderful.
After the service, around 9:00, Dovis, Johnny and I went to pick up Josué, and then we met up with Markos, Samu, Lukas, Mela, Miriam, Elias, Marc, Andreas, Rut and Montse to have dinner. We went to this AMAZING Chinese buffet and stayed there until about 3:00. It was such sweet time. I love hanging out with my precious Spanish friends because more than any other time, naturally, I get to really practice my Spanish. And I understand everything they say, which is so encouraging!
At 3:00, Elias took me home. Unfortunately, I couldn't fall asleep until around 6:00. I don't know what's wrong with me.
La durmiente extraña,
Leigh
